This policy explains how we handle information when you use TurnYard websites, applications, and related services (the “Services”), including SMS / text messages.

1. Who we are

TurnYard provides business software to organizations that invite their staff and contractors. The organization that invited you (the “Customer”) administers your workspace.

2. Information we collect

• Account: name, work email, role, organization, and a mobile number only if you give us one
• Use of the Services: records and files you or the Customer create in the workspace, and basic technical data (IP address, device/app version, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the Services
• SMS: the number you provided, when and how you opted in or out, your notice preferences, and delivery status from our messaging provider

We do not buy contact lists. We do not collect mobile numbers except from you or the Customer that invited you.

3. How we use it

• To provide the Services to the Customer
• To authenticate you, including one-time verification codes if you use that method
• To send text messages you agreed to receive (see §4)
• To honor STOP / START / HELP
• For security, support, and legal compliance

4. Text messages

If you provide a mobile number and consent, TurnYard may text you:

• One-time verification codes
• Account and service messages about your access to the Services (for example, an invitation or an operational notice related to work already in your account)

Message and data rates may apply. Frequency varies.

Reply STOP to the number that texted you to opt out of that sender. Reply HELP for help, or email support@turnyard.com. You may also remove or disable SMS on your profile.

Verification codes may be sent by a different TurnYard sender than other account messages. Opting out of one sender does not always opt you out of the other; use STOP on each, or contact support.

We do not use these numbers for advertising or marketing. We do not send consumer billing, debt, or promotional campaigns on this program.

SMS opt-in data and consent are not sold and are not shared with third parties for their marketing or other non-delivery purposes. Carriers and our messaging provider receive the destination number only to deliver messages and process opt-out keywords.

All categories in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; that information will not be shared with any third parties.

5. Sharing

We share information only:

• With the Customer that administers your workspace
• With processors that host or deliver the Services (including our SMS provider), under contract
• When required by law or to prevent harm

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention and security

We keep account and workspace data for the Customer relationship, then delete or return it as that relationship requires. SMS consent and opt-out records are kept long enough to show we honored them. Verification codes are short-lived.

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards. No transmission is perfectly secure. Report concerns to support@turnyard.com.

7. Your choices

• Update your profile and mobile number
• Reply STOP or disable SMS in the product
• Email support@turnyard.com to request access, correction, or deletion of your profile information, subject to the Customer’s records and legal exceptions

If you are a California resident dealing with us as a consumer, you may make CPRA requests at the same email. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CPRA. Most users access the Services on behalf of a business Customer.

8. Children

The Services are for workplace use. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

9. Changes and contact

We will change the date above when this policy changes. Material changes to SMS practices will be noticed to Customer administrators or in the product.
